Apprize ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Apprize mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store your password directly.

Photos and Identification Data

When you use the identification feature, we process photos you submit to identify items. Photos and identification results (item name, description, pricing data, and market information) are stored in your account so you can access them later.

Subscription and Payment Information

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (via the App Store). We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous analytics data (such as feature usage and app performance) through PostHog to improve the app experience.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and identification history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Apprize is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:
